Whenever you want to celebrate this chocolate mousse is close at hand.
1 cup (270g)
HEAVY CREAM, HEATED
1 cup (250g)
MASCARPONE OR CREAM CHEESE
1 cup (250g)
HEAVY CREAM
1 bar (100g)
DARK CHOCOLATE, CHOPPED
⅓ cup (80g)
RUM
⅓ cup (75g)
CASTER (SUPERFINE) SUGAR
2 tbsp (30g)
RUNNY HONEY OR AGAVE SYRUP
1 tsp (5g)
VANILLA EXTRACT
PREPARATION
Place the rhum, chocolate, honey and 1 cup cream in a pan and heat through. Mix thoroughly and let cool. Add a cup of mascarpone and beat until fuffy.
Place 1 cup of the cream, sugar, vanilla and mascarpone in a bowl. Beat the ingredients until fluffy.
Fill the glasses with alternative, even layers of mousse.
